AnswerIt is operated by MainDevs LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our Service at answeritapp.com.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign up, we collect your email address and, if you use Google OAuth, your name and profile picture as provided by Google.

Business Profile

During onboarding you provide information about your business: name, industry, tone preferences, and goals. This is used to personalize AI-generated responses.

Review Text and Generated Responses

We store the customer review text you paste and the AI-generated responses we return. This history is accessible to you in the Service and is used to improve your experience.

Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card details. We receive and store limited billing metadata (subscription status, plan, renewal date) from Stripe.

Usage Data

We collect basic usage data such as credit consumption and generation timestamps to operate the Service and enforce plan limits.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Service
• To generate AI responses using your business context
• To manage your subscription and enforce usage limits
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts)
• To respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate AnswerIt:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage (USA)
• OpenAI— AI response generation. Your review text and business context are sent to OpenAI to produce replies. OpenAI's data usage policy applies.
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management
• Vercel — application hosting and edge infrastructure
• Google — optional OAuth sign-in

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy and data practices.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and generation history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., billing records).

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your generation history

7. Cookies

We use cookies strictly for authentication session management (set by Supabase). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Security

We implement reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and reliance on trusted infrastructure providers. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
